Eclectic Boho Toddler Bedroom

I dreamed of having a daughter. I dreamed of all the tiny little girly things and special mommy daughter moments we would share. I dreamed of designing her nursery and then getting to know her and designing her first big girl room.
This is Charleigh’s room. It is perfectly her, a mix of girly, wild, natural, and whimsical. Charleigh is not a dainty little toddler, she’s a wild flower. She’s all over the place-climbing, running, jumping-but she just may be doing all of these things in a tutu. As you can see from her room, she is an eclectic mix of many things as is her happy boho space with lots of storage, hangout spots, and the ability to climb on and off of her custom modified daybed.

Elegant Ballerina Room Any Girl Would Want!

This room was custom designed by Cheryl McConnell of Sweet Lullaby in Wyckoff, NJ.  Bedding and window treatments flow with beautiful ruffles, sparkling beads and luxerious bows!! The furniture was custom ordered and the muralist just sealed the deal with stunning silhouettes of ballerinas.
Murals were painted by Murals and more by Patrice.  Bejeweled with Swarvoski crystals, pearls and rhinestones.

Our sweet little customer wanted a ballerina room done with elegance that she can grow with!

Nutcracker “Land of the Snow” Party

My daughter Ava has been in ballet for 4 years now, so when she asked for a ballet theme birthday party it was only fitting! At first she told me that she wanted simply pink and white, but for me, that theme would be what everyone would expect from a ballet party. We came to the agreement of a Nutcracker theme since Christmas is not far from her birthday and the Nutcracker is her favorite ballet…well the only one that she has seen since she is only six. And what better theme than the “Land of the Snow” scene from the ballet! I got to work on designing an invitation and other social stationary. It was a fantastic way to incorporate both the ballet and the upcoming snow season (not that it ever snows in south Florida but we can pretend). The wonderful staff at her dance studio, Atlantic Arts Academy, were so gracious to allow me to host Ava’s party at the studio. The party started with the talented Mrs. Rose teaching all 14 girls a lesson to the sounds of the Nutcracker ballet. The girls were all giddy and smiles from ear to ear! I’ve never seen Ava have so much fun! Not only was she doing what she absolutely loves…dancing ballet…she was surrounded by all of her favorite girls!
