When my very good friend told me that she is having baby number 2, my mind raced to baby shower planning. :) I wanted to make sure it was absolutely special, elegant and wonderfully memorable event for her.
That’s where PJ’s sister and I went crazy exchanging ideas and tips to make sure this shower was even more special one than the first shower we threw for her. PJ’s sister-in-law joined forces and then another one of our friend joined as a hostess as well.
The event was hosted at PJ’s basement so it was a pain to keep most of the elements a secret. Also, mom-to-be wanted it to be ladies only event to which the hostesses happily obliged.
You dont have to spend a fortune to have a cute shower! Everything was diy, the goody bags, magnets, champagne glasses and even the cake!
A Fall brunch baby girl shower.
First baby, first grandchild, first niece… this little one was already spoiled in the womb. My amazing sister Evonne knew right away she wanted to plan my baby shower and after months of her dealing with my craziness the day finally arrived. I wanted it to be light, airy and pink! I usually shy away from too much pink but in this case it was just perfect. We took the design inspiration from the invitations, Pinterest & Etsy and threw in some DIY projects, which made it so personal and beautiful!
Our Feather Her Nest is elegant and beautiful. What a lovely way to celebrate a new mommy to be. Includes a soft color palette of pinks and a beautiful Moroccan pattern for the designs. The Feather Her Nest printable collection is perfect for celebrating the upcoming arrival of a baby girl, baby boy or gender surprise as our collection is also available in multiple colors!

Feather The Nest Baby Shower!
This was a baby shower with a theme inspired by the classic children’s book, The Secret Garden. I knew I wanted to play with texture rather than color, and immediately knew I wanted to make a backdrop of paper flowers inspired by the Chanel 2009 runway show. It was lightweight, inexpensive, and gorgeous! (Looks awesome hanging on my bedroom wall now, too.)
My husband and I wanted to have a welcome party for our newest addition so we decided to combine the traditional baby dedication with a baby naming ceremony/welcome to the world celebration and this is the result.

Baby Shower. Easy DIY decor, I only splurged on the cake and used it as the centerpiece.

We wanted the baby shower to feel fresh and summery but also feminine and fun, so with inspiration taken from an adorable Tiny Prints invitation, we set about making it the country club festively fuchsia and green! :)
I wanted to welcome my friends and family to meet my new baby girl!and why not host a garden party!!!
A friend and mama-to-be with Oklahoma roots is expecting her first child in a few short weeks, so a few of her closest friends got together to throw her (and her husband!) a sweet and simple Southern-inspired baby shower.(All photos by one of the lovely co-hosts Jennifer Paschal Gottlieb, Bruce Forrester Photography in San Francisco.)
