Baby boy neutral nursery

Today we are sharing the sweetest gender neutral nursery for baby Beaux Perkins.  With olive tree wallpaper as a backdrop, this cozy neutral nursery features linen crib bedding, neutral toned accessories and light wood accents.  White tones keep the room feeling bright and fresh.  Such a warm and inviting room for baby Beaux and his family!

Beaux’s room is an extension of Becca and Nathan’s home, which has a coastal farmhouse feel.  The nursery feels cohesive with the other rooms in the house, while at the same time creates a special space for baby.  This room is calm, peaceful and perfect for sleep time.

The modern style two-toned convertible crib from Wayfair features clean lines and bold angles that give it a sleek, minimalist design.  Bright white and soft toned wood make the perfect pairing.  “Let him sleep…” sign is from Etsy.

A beautiful heirloom oil painting on the nursery wall is of Becca’s grandmother.  Such a beautiful piece of art that has a special meaning.  Personal touches in the nursery can surround your loved one with the comfort they crave.

The green olive branch wallpaper from Magnolia Home is playful and perfect for a unisex baby’s room.  Soft shades of green paired with gray is a dreamy palette for creating a relaxing vibe.

This sweet hunting nursery was sent to us by a grandmama-to-be (Diane Easley) and was designed by her daughter, Katie McClanahan.  Katie came across our Washed Linen in Gray Crib Collection on Instagram, and thought it would be the perfect addition to her baby’s room.
Katie found her inspiration for this space on Pinterest, with a little help from her husband who is an avid hunter and fisherman.  Hence the hint of woodland style decor.  A new dad must be thrilled to be able to have some say in his baby boy’s room!

For a nursery inspired by the outdoors, the deer head wall accent and buffalo plaid curtains are the ideal accents.  Often hunting inspired rooms are designed with dark colors such as red and black.  This room’s light color palette is chic and clean.  The simple design can easily go with any style room.  You don’t always have to go full lumberjack to bring a woodsy feel to your nursery.  The subtle infusion of a few rustic accents adds just the right touch to this hunting themed nursery.

The soft gray and muted blue colors creates a serene and cozy room.  The patterned buffalo check nursery curtains and area rug compliment the solid gray linen crib bedding perfectly.  Katie added personalization to the room by adding a monogram to the crib rail cover.  The gorgeous area rug from Lulu and Georgia brings warmth, texture and relaxed sophistication to the room.  White floating shelves hold favorite books to read in the comfy glider from Best Chairs.  Watercolor hunting and fishing inspired prints were a gift from a friend.  The cottage style crib was purchased used, and repainted white.

Katie chose our simple and neutral white and gray trimmed crib rail cover from our Small Wonders Crib Collection for the crib bedding, which fits perfectly in with the color scheme of the room.  The rustic crib and the plaid wallpaper give the nursery a farmhouse style.
A cozy corner in the nursery provides a relaxing spot for feedings and bedtime stories.  The gold floor lamp gives a modern twist to the room.  The nursery is well organized with wall shelves and cubbies for toys and more.

A light and airy star and airplane themed big boy room.

In creating a nursery for our new baby boy, I wanted to design a space that was bright, cheerful, neutral, and that would grow with him as he got older. The room is small, about 7′ x 9′, so space was definitely taken into consideration when choosing furniture. I hope Jacob has as much fun in his nursery as I did making it!
