My husband and I are adopting a beautiful, sweet, and loving little girl from the foster care system. She has never had her own room so we wanted to make it extra special! We always felt called to adopt before trying to have biological children and we feel so blessed by our happy, kind-hearted, and gorgeous little girl!
My husband and I are waiting to adopt and wanted to create a warm and colorful space for our sweet baby to be.
Small room, small budget, short time! We’re adopting our little girl, and didn’t find out about her until 3 months ago, so time was short to create the nursery we want for her.
My husband and I created this gender neutral nursery when we started the adoption process. We had no idea when we would be matched or if we would be getting a boy or a girl, so we had to be prepared for any scenario. We used a painting of a sparrow for our inspiration.
Our nursery is created for either gender baby since we’re adopting…The unknown motivated the color choice and it also works with the rest of the home decor to make it easier for future changes.
Environment is such an important part of a child’s development. Foster and soon-to-be adoptive parents, The “H’s”, have created an incredibly bright, cheery and engaging environment for their son’s new home. Project Nursery is delighted to share with you the inspirational details…
