Steppin’ Up

| December 15, 2010

When the time had come to transition our son into his twin “big boy” bed…there was the challenge of the bed being just a tad too high.  It was important in this transition that he could get in and out of  his bed all by himself.  Although we as parents preferred more of the climbing [...]

Giveaway: Hot Mama Designs Custom Baby Name Jewelry...

| November 26, 2010

It’s the accessories that compete any hot mama’s look. With a 7:15am bus drop off I’m usually un-showered and wearing workout clothes but I always apply a little mascara add a colorful scarf and some great jewelry. It’s like an instant face-lift! And for the record I do eventually shower. So when it comes to [...]

Hand-Embroidery Really Is “Simply Adorable”...

| October 15, 2010

When mother of two Kim Reeves was put on bed rest for her 2009 pregnancy she took that opportunity to teach herself new crafts. Her new passion for hand-embroidery quickly became a favorite. Let’s be honest, between the oven timer beckoning your call and pouring everyone’s drink of choice it’s not easy to keep children focused on settling in for the meal ahead of them…

Lex Modern Art For Kids

| September 6, 2010

I have an itty bitty addiction to those “members-only” shopping sites. Every morning my heart flutters when I see my inbox is flooded with the daily shopping deals available to me. It’s a little silly when you consider I don’t actually buy very often but I enjoy my daily browsing fix and sometimes I find a real gem. The funky owls, happy monkeys, air guitars and mod daisies jumped out at me and I thought in the right space they would look fantastic. I especially like some of the stylish color combinations like gray and hot pink or turquoise and orange
