Have you noticed that Restoration Baby & Child has really evolved? They still master the dark wood furniture and matelasse bedding which is rich and mature looking, but a breath of fresh air has found its way into their pieces. RH Baby & Child has recently expanded their nursery and childrens collections to include some beautiful additions.
One of my favorite things about room decor is not the type of crib or the new rug… for me it is always about the little details that are in the room. Like a well dressed book shelf in the family room, zooming in on photographs or other treasures on the shelf for me make the room more interesting. I love the random collection or assortment of objects that somehow come together to tell a story. It is this mix and match approach to home decor that makes a room special.
Ok, so I may have committed the ultimate preggers sin! I ordered crib bedding. I know, I know – so what, right? Well, here is the problem…We don’t know what we are having yet and the bedding is TOTALLY for a girl! My pregnancy impulses got the best of me and I caved, I did it, and it arrived today. Can I just say how adorable it is? Naturally I had to share the fun and design an inspiration board around said bedding set that could possibly be going back to the store in less than two weeks…
Wow Project Nursery readers, you’re making this a task! After much consideration we bring you the finalists for May’s Room Project of the Month! Our Project Gallery uploads were fearless this month. We narrowed it down to these five inspirational spaces and can’t wait to hear who is your favorite!
We recently came across SPI Baby – a new line of furniture and accessories for kids, and found true love. The pieces are beautiful & the owners are our type of gals! The first piece that caught our eye was their fabulous glider
Ooh, I just love options. Anything that I can customize makes my heart sing. So its no coincidence that I am having a love affair with FLOR modular carpet tiles. They have created a huge selection of carpet squares in an array of colors, textures and styles that can be configured in any shape or size to create area rugs, runners or wall-to-wall designs. The best part is they can be adapted, moved or replaced which makes them absolutely perfect for kid spaces.
