Whether it’s work related or just plain fun, we love to invest in a little fashion “research” from time to time. Lately, we’ve been loving the trend of bold, bordering on wild, patterns, which is everywhere from skinny jeans and fun sneakers to bathing suits and party dresses. It’s often the case that design trends mirror fashion trends [...]

A few weeks ago, on one of those warm end of summer days, I jumped in the back of a yellow taxi to visit the legendary Scalamandre townhouse. To be very honest, many moons ago, I saw the name Scalamandre and thought it was pronounced “salamander.” Say it with me, Scal-uh-mahn-dray. This legendary house of [...]
It is hard to believe that August is here and my children are getting ready to go back to school. It makes me want to savor the summer sun before fall makes its entrance. Summer is filled with radiant colors, and I love using them in children’s rooms. There are so many ways to express [...]
For all of us in the interior design business, we’ve been hearing rumors about C.Wonder, a new type of retail shopping “experience,” for what seems like years now. Well, the secret finally got out last weekend with the grand opening of the flagship store in one of the country’s mega-design hubs, New York City. The [...]
One of my favorite things about room decor is not the type of crib or the new rug… for me it is always about the little details that are in the room. Like a well dressed book shelf in the family room, zooming in on photographs or other treasures on the shelf for me make the room more interesting. I love the random collection or assortment of objects that somehow come together to tell a story. It is this mix and match approach to home decor that makes a room special.

Today, Little Crown Interiors is thrilled to share one of our recent nursery design projects with Project Nursery! We recently completed this glamorous baby girl’s nursery for a client in Los Angeles, California. Here’s what we knew going into the project: The client already had her modern Nurseryworks furniture, which she purchased for her first child.
Yes, that’s right… Little Crown Interiors has joined forces with a prominent Hollywood production company to bring a special opportunity to Project Nursery readers. As if it’s not enough for us to have the best job in the world (designing amazing nurseries and childrens’ rooms), Little Crown Interiors also has the great luck of being based in Southern California where the world of Hollywood meets the streets everyday…
I just wanted to share some fun photos from the Design With Style Event held at Babies”R”Us last weekend. Our sponsor NoJo did an amazing job putting it all together. I spent the afternoon at the Babies”R”Us Tustin, CA location with Tracie Schor of NoJo and we had a blast sharing creative design ideas with expecting parents and grandparents! Attendees listened to a design seminar presented by Project Nursery and best of all, enjoyed free, personalized design advice. We hope this event continues and that Pam and I have the chance to get out there and meet our readers in person. A big thanks to all who attended!
