A little eye candy never hurt anyone. Today’s dose is provided by our gal Jennifer Delonge with the new Wing Recliner Glider. A welcome addition to her nursery seating collection, this glider has sleek lines and a modern attitude that screams “look at me”.

I find myself looking for inspiration these days in rooms which have “grown up” themes and accents. I love the idea of turning a child’s room slightly “topsy turvy” with a little bit of the eclectic. Rooms that have a element of surprise and uniqueness.
With the right wallpaper a nursery can have that complete, polished look that screams “professionally decorated.” Adding wallpaper to any room can feel like a big commitment but done tastefully, it can bring in drama and sophistication. I found some examples of that highly stylized look that works in today’s nursery.
Every week dessert enthusiasts tune in to watch the master of pastry perfection, Buddy Valastro carve, ganache, and transform one man’s idea into a decadent display of imagination and fondant. Perhaps it’s the unusual requests, like the most recent vintage toilet cake equipped with running water, that makes Cake Boss so popular. But would Carlo’s Bakery be as entertaining without the endearing family behind it? We wouldn’t bet our last cannoli on it!
Today, Little Crown Interiors is thrilled to share one of our recent nursery design projects with Project Nursery! We recently completed this glamorous baby girl’s nursery for a client in Los Angeles, California. Here’s what we knew going into the project: The client already had her modern Nurseryworks furniture, which she purchased for her first child.
Nursery design is worthy of front page news these days! This week’s People magazine features actress and cancer survivor Christina Applegate’s new nursery for baby Sadie and I SPY Oilo crib bedding. This Modern Berries pattern is the epitome of sophistication. Made with 100 percent fine woven cotton the three piece set includes bumper, skirt and crib sheet for $399. Available in spring green, tree trunk brown and taupe.
Sometimes the smaller details make the biggest impact. When I spotted these darling decorative accents by Marie Ricci, I absolutely fell in love. Marie’s hand carved originals add the perfect amount of personalization, charm and whimsy to any nursery or kid’s room all while adding a touch of architectural detailing…
Design Dilemma: We’re just moving into a new townhouse after living in a rented apartment. In the rental, we weren’t allowed to paint or hang window treatments, so I’m really looking forward to creating a baby space for my son Sam (9 months old) that I couldn’t create in the old place. With that said, we want this new baby room to be somewhat gender neutral so that it can be our next baby’s room — whatever the sex!
