All this depressing wall street stuff has really got a girl down. Nothing like a little sparkle to lift the mood. My sister’s friend introduced us to this great line of simple and chic jewelry by designer Adina Reyter. There are a ton of pieces to fall in love with in her line and after perusing the collection I realized that many of her necklaces would make great push presents too. One diamond for the first child, two diamonds for the second and so on and so on! I think this theory works very well, wink, wink.

Adina’s pieces can go from day to night and because they are beautifully understated, they complement any personal style. Each of her pieces can be worn separately or can be layered to create a unique and fun look. In addition to the lovely necklaces, I love the large twist hoop earrings. Finding the perfect pair of gold hoop earrings is like choosing a baby name. Lots of choices but only one really works! I mean if Jennifer, Cameron, Debra and Demi are all wearing her stuff then I think I need to join the club too…

We were honored when asked to guest blog at A List Baby, a site obsessed with all things exquisite for baby and celebrity child style. The Task: Create a room for Hollywood’s newest A-list twins, Vivienne & Knox Jolie-Pitt. I mean seriously…Out of all the celebrity offspring to choose from, could we have chosen a family with more interests, style, diversity and homes around the globe? Probably not. Sex and the City the Movie that is! I love, love, loved it! I don’t care what any movie critic said, it was brilliant. The whole experience was serious fun. I couldn’t help notice that there were only two lone males in the whole audience (I’m guessing they were a couple) and the remaining 100+ women were dressed for a hot date with Mr. Biggs (it was a Tuesday night in windy SF so provided a bit of a chuckle). In hindsight, I did appreciated the efforts these women made to look Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda-esq in honor of the movie…

Anyway, besides all the fabulous fashion, I really enjoyed the set design. I thought Charlotte’s daughter Lily had a very fun and playful room. I loved the nod to Lily’s heritage with the hot pink Chinese lantern wallpaper. Too cute! Charlotte’s digs were always put together to Upper East Side perfection, so it was no doubt her adopted daughter’s room was just as fitting with bright colors and whimsical touches. Production designer Jeremy Conway was the man behind the movie’s set design. I especially loved the polka dot wing chair. Although, I couldn’t find the exact chair I did find some solid substitutions.

This pink chenille wing chair from Bella Cottage is a good combination of girly meets modern. Pottery Barn Kids has come out with an expanded line of upholstered gliders. They not only have pink polka dots but also green damask and black and white geometric patterns. This cute little denim wing chair is from A baby and was the closest I found to little Lily’s. It also can be ordered in different color and patterns including one called candy pink. I’m sure miss Charlotte would approve.

If you didn’t, take 2 minutes now out of your crazy day and check out Nahla Ariela Aubry’s new digs - both Hollywood and Malibu. Afterall, we are all about children’s design and the latest finds, right?!

Next we have the totally mod Litto Crib Manhattan also found at NoMi for a mere $850. The sleek zebra wood and contempory steel legs apparently work better in Malibu. Both are equally as fabulous in my book!
