A soothing nursery in yellow and grays fit for playtime and naptime.
The yellow walls. They were painted yellow before we began and the goal was to make the space as calm as possible! So we brought in a beautiful mix of grays and whites in different patterns.
The space was meant to be calm and happy -- and a place for maximum play time. So the white shag rug was key as he was beginning to walk and play with toys. The style was contemporary clean.

The giant giraffe! He is so fun and such a whimsical surprise in the space. David's older sister is definitely jealous!
Focus on your one bright color (in this case, yellow) and then have fun with different patterns in grays. Just make sure you look at the undertones of your grays to make sure there isn't too much green or purple underneath that might not work with other grays in the space.
