Description

Classic, traditional, homespun and vintage inspired space. Soothing, soft colors drape everything in sight. Although I love bright, vibrant colors, I decided there will be plenty of time for that later.

Design Inspiration

The last thing I wanted was a theme; however, you will find hints of boxer dogs through out the room since they were my babies before my human baby. I wanted the room to feel like it was dripping in warmth--like you were walking into a blanket. I wanted everything soft and sweet. They'll be plenty of time for bright, fun colors later in life.

I love the vintage pieces. I really scored after searching multiple antique store locations. 

Advice

The last thing I wanted was for this room to be matchy matchy, but I didn't want it to look hodge podge either--that's the tough part. Make sure you're keeping track of your purchases by putting them up in the room as you get them. Don't make the mistake of buying stuff randomly and letting it sit in the room until you're ready to put the room together--you'll forget what you already have and loose the focus of the room.
