Description
Will it be a boy or a girl? Gender neutral woodland themed nursery, colors are white, grey, and mint. Mid-century, clean lines, bright, light and soothing - with a bit of whimsy.
Design Inspiration
We wanted to be surprised about the gender of our baby, so I went with a sweet woodland theme using tree decals and photos of baby animals. We are both animal lovers so this was a perfect theme for us.
Decorating Style
I am a big fan of transitional with a blend of modern and antique accents. I like a blend of the old and new but keeping with a classic style that will stand the test of time and not fade out as a short-lived design fad. This nursery leans toward mid-century modern but with some personal DIY touches such as the cypress stump table and the refinished dresser painted to match the crib and bedding.

Advice
Shop around, be thrifty and save money by waiting for sales and deals if you have the time. Add a DIY piece or two to your nursery to put a personal stamp on it that only you will have for your baby. Don't think 'custom' has to be outrageously expensive... if you cannot find what you want someone will make it for you or you can make it yourself!
