My husband and I share a passion for climbing and being outdoors, and we knew from the beginning that we wanted to incorporate those two things into the nursery. I began planning for the theme before we knew the gender of the baby, so I wanted most of the decorations to remain gender neutral but bringing in feminine/masculine colors once we found out. We were elated to find out that we were having a girl!
The room is quite small, only 10x10, but I'm glad we were able to get all the essential furniture in there.
The inspiration for the room came from the feather print. It was rustic, yet elegant and could be masculine or feminine in nature. The whole room began to form around that print.
We also used the room by lutis as our inspiration.
I would describe my decorating style as simplistic, modern, and neutral.
Handmade with love items: bird mobile, throwing stone pillows, reclaimed wood artwork, matching crib sheet and changing pad cover, and birdhouse lamp.

My favorite item in the room is the handmade reclaimed wood artwork that I tediously hand painted. I just love the quote and it really brings the love of the mountains we have into the room while serving as an inspiration for our baby girl.
