Description
A vivacious colorful nursery for two.
Design Inspiration
COLOR! I wanted their nursery to be cheery and bright that reflects their lively personalities. I also wanted their room to be a place would they could play freely and grow into. I had A LOT of space to work with. Their room is about 15ft by 12ft. I decided to go with bold colors and contrasted with black and white accents which gave this empty space a good pick-me-up. I chose a large area rug for family playtime. I made their toys centerstage for easy access. I filled their room with sentimental pieces and even some D.I.Y. projects that were a cinch. Overall, I'm thrilled with the final results. Their nursery is my favorite room in the whole house!
Decorating Style
Modern eclectic. I have a soft spot for mixing old and new pieces.

Favorite Items
The vintage gold mirror! It was my late grandmother's that my mother handed down to me. I love having a family piece in the nursery. It gives their space a more personal touch.
Advice
Fill a room with pieces you treasure because you'll want to love the space where your family dwells.
