Design Inspiration
The brand new Caden Lane Boutique Collection! My son's previous room was designed around the Classic Collection by Caden Lane, and he had cars & trucks on the wall. When we moved, he wanted a little more "big boy" of a room, complete with sports decor. I think this is just enough sports decor to satisfy him, without making it a "themed" room.
Decorating Style
Color. Clean lines. And I love it when there's more to a wall than just a solid color.
Project Details
The stripes around the top of the room were painted in one day. All you need is a yard stick (easier to hold than a measuring tape), pencil, and blue painters tape... mark however many inches you want the stripes to be, and then use your marks as a guide when you are plaing the tape on the wall. And ALWAYS use a brush when painting between blue tape - it will help keep your lines straight, and keep the paint from leaking under the tape. (Roller brushes are horrible for that!)

Advice
If you don't have a nook in the room you can accent with orange paint... try painting an entire wall orange! I love it when 3 walls are one color, and 1 wall (hopefully the main focal wall) is a pop of a different color. It helps break up the square-ness of the room, and add interest! Happy painting!
