Vintage Robot Party

Description

All little boys love robots and I tried to create this one with a modern twist to a classic theme. We added vintage antique robots collected by Logan's dad to the dessert table and had food to resemble "robot" parts. Red licorice wheels, gumballs, cosmic cookies and more for all to enjoy! Logan's favorite food is french fries, so I created custom french frie cones to match the table fabric. We  created arts and crafts projects using robot cut outs. The kids had fun gluing and glittering them and then we hing them up to create a "home made" banner for all to enjoy. Fun "global" blow up balls were a fun toy for all the kids to play with and then take home as one of the favors.

Design Inspiration

Using a Michael Miller dot print and a yellow chevron zig zag pattern as my main inspirations, gave this party a fun playful look. We used a turquoise and yellow color scheme with pops of red.

Decorating Style

Girls LOVE robots too! My daughters nursery was robots but when I created it 19 months ago it was hard to find ANYTHING robot now they are everywhere! This party is spectacular! We would have loved this 7 months ago :-)

Indeed, boys love robots! And I think it's a theme that's very easy and simple to execute. I like the look and the colors of those robot cookies.
