Description:

We used a stone, white and taupe colour pallet to create a sophisticated and calming space that reflected the modern style our client was looking for. We wanted each of the pieces, including the wallpaper to have some longevity so we used materials and furniture that would grow with the bub.

Design Inspiration:

The inspiration for this room was the wallpaper. Once we found this we designed the entire space around it.

Decorating Style:

The style of the room is vintage modern. We blended modern pieces like the cot and chevron cushion with a the vintage inspired cross cushion, embroidered linens and vintage artworks.

Advice:

One of the hardest things about doing a nursery is the editing. Everything is so cute in miniature so it's tempting to cram a lot into the space. The key to a great outcome is being able to pull back and know what should stay and what should go.
