Train Theme Kid’s Room

Location: San Clemente, CA
Description: Our Client L had her big boy room furniture, and train theme ideas, and Little Crown Interiors helped make it happen. Throughout this big boy room, we created custom items to make this room really special - custom big boy bedding and matching textiles, custom window seat, customized artwork, custom bath accessories, and a custom window seat with coordinating cushion work together to make this kid's room design adorable. There's even custom train track chair rail!
Design Inspiration:
Our inspiration for this project was our Client. She was so enthusiastic about creating a room for her boy that he would truly love and that included his most favorite thing - trains!
Decorating Style:
At Little Crown Interiors, we always use our own design knowledge and taste and combine it with our client's wants and needs. Each project ends up being something all its own!
Project Details:
Our best resource for this project was a good contractor. With three paint colors and a completely custom train track chair rail, we really needed someone who knew what they were doing!
Favorite Items:
Our favorite thing in this room is definitely the train track chair rail - such a unique touch!
Advice:
Don't go overboard with thematic items. Keep the theme in items that can be changed over time, like artwork and accessories.
