Description
Nursery for our baby girl!
Design Inspiration
I wanted the nursery to be an eclectic mix instead of matching sets of furniture and linens. My first piece for the nursery that I based everything around was the pouf. And I went from there. I wanted a balance of classic pieces mixed with bohemian accents.
Decorating Style
Classic with an edge, relaxed glamour.
Project Details
I like when rooms look like the pieces in it have been collected over the years. DIY ~ Painted the baby elephant, multi-flower and deer/shroom painting. Single flower is a pastel by my best friend. Bed skirt and duvet are also DIY. Unfortunately I had to work with a small space, in the process of an addition on our home. The new nursery will be much bigger and things won't be cramped at all. Those will be the days!

Advice
Buy one piece here and there, don't buy entire collections.

I love anything Bohemian! In fact, there are a few things in this room I'd like to steal: your wallpaper, those flower paintings, the elephant softie, the elephant painting, and the blue ottoman.

5 stars! Your wall art sayings are very unique and really shows off your personality. I love your open armoire closet. I'm doing this as well because my room has no closet. Great design and well executed. I'm showing off my nursery progress at:

I just LOVE everything about this nursery! The use of neutral and punchy colors blend so well. The elephant painting and the deer painting are just adorable and so unique. Love the crib, love the rug, love the mobile, love the pouf, love the lamp, all the framed sayings, love how the cute little baby clothes aren't behind closed doors, I could go on and on. Love, love, love!!! Great job!
