- A Project For: Baby A
- Age: Not born yet. =)
- Location: Seattle, WA

Description:
Gender neutral nursery with gray walls, white birch trees, white and espresso accents and splashes of red.
-
Design Inspiration:
This season, I'm really in love with gray and wanted a gender neutral nursery for our baby boy. I got the idea of adding the birch trees mural after feeling soothed by watching trees through a window at my prenatal yoga class and also at my husband's office.
-
Decorating Style:
Modern, contemporary, transitional, eclectic? Actually, I enjoy looking at anything that is beautiful.
-
Project Details:
Birch trees with red birds: wall decal from Etsy.com

Crib: Baby's Dream Infinity in Espresso
Rocker/Recliner: Monaco in Summit Dove (which actually turned out more beige than I anticipated) by Little Castle

Book shelf & side table are garage sale finds that I painted in white.
DIY: origami mobile and a no-sew crib skirt that I made from old Ikea curtains

Favorite Items:
The birch trees with the birds add a lot of drama to the room. Plus, my cats love the birds and are always trying to hunt them (when I let them in the room that is).
-
Advice:
Deciding to go with white accents really saved me a lot of money since these items are easy to find and match.
