Sofia’s garden birthday party

• Description: I've decided to start this project just 2 months prior to the party. I wanted the decoration to be colorful and to include garden animals, but not to be a "enchanted garden"... I had NEVER made anything in felt and had no clue where to start. With help from 2 friends, I learned how to make the felt decorations and spent nights doing everything. Every small detail was homemade by me. I used items from my home to complete the decoration and fresh flowers and leaves from my garden.
• Design Inspiration: My daughter's passion for flowers and animals, and the colors of my backyard.
• Decorating Style: Happy, colorful, romantic.
• Project Details: Printables: TomKat Studio. Cake: Lime Tree Cafe, Dubai/ UAE. Decoration in felt: homemade, following free patterns I found on Google.
• Favorite Items: I'm very proud of everything I did, because I really did with lots of love. When I saw the smile of my daughter looking at the table when everything was set in place was my great gift. But I must confess I loved the birds and the owls. :)
• Advice: Don't be scared if you've never made a party decoration before. It's easy to find almost everything on google and you can follow the steps. Some sites offer great stuff for very low prices or you can even find free items/ ideas. Find items at home that can add something interesting to your decoration. Use your creativity and don't be afraid to ask friend's help. It is possible to make a nice decoration with a tight budget.
