My best friend threw me the most beautiful shower! Every detail was perfect.
Design Inspiration:
My friend wanted to throw a modern, elegant shower with lots of charm. I am having a girl, so pink was the theme.
Decorating Style:
This shower is a modern shabby theme.
Project Details:
Pink lemonade and mason jars with punched holes in the shape of a daisy on the lids and cute straws sticking out. Pink champagne. A pink dahlia design on the (delicious!) 2-tiered cake. Crisp white table linens with pink napkins and pink medallion print fabric runners. Fresh hydrangeas in a garden planter. Strands of ribbon covering the entire fireplace with the baby's name hung in the midst. Fabric chinese lanters and paper dahlias hung from the ceilng. White birch branches in a large glass container to make the hair ribbon tree. "Kissing balls", or moss covered foam balls hung with strands and strands of ribbon.
Favorite Items:
The advice and hair accessory tree. She had everyone bring a hair accessory and also had them fill out an advice card. She attached the hair accessory to the card then hung it on the tree. The bows and headbands looked like flowers on the tree. Then, she read each card and I had to guess who wrote it. I would then open their present. I love all the advice and all the hair bows!

You bestfriend did an awesome job! I wish I had one like her, who would throw me marvelous baby showers each time I get pregnant. You are right, the details are so beautiful.
