Project Details

I have decorated our first child nursery with sea theme, using mostly white and blue colours, with sea details, real shells and wall paintings created with love by me just before our baby boy was born. The pictures are all in one style showing a pirate, two boats, sea star, fish, etc. I ordered the sticker for the wall before our baby birth and found the perfect match next to the window. After few months of searching for sea theme curtains or fabric in Sofia, I found the perfect design on an on-line shop in Germany and immediately ordered the fabrics. The same I gave to a tailor nearby and now they look wonderful.

The clock on the wall belonged to his father who is from Bourgas at the Black sea and actually it was the clock he is taking everywhere as a lucky object. Even in the desert. But my brush worked its magic on it, and now it fits the nursery beautifully. And the baby is always looking at the clock while changing his Pampers. I suppose now it is HIS lucky item.

I purchased the Dolphin light from a shop in Sofia, also before the birth of the baby. This was the first item I bought for the nursery.

His aunt bought him for Christmas the sea themed towel and sheets, not even knowing how his room looks like, but they fitted perfectly. One of his grandmothers gave him the Saint Nikolay icon, to keep him save and protect him.

The final touches were when me and my husband went to IKEA and bought the white comfortable couch. And of course the cute blue and yellow pillow on it is what was missing! I designed the same online from a wonderful Bulgarian e-shop called 100ovce and the same was delivered to my door in 3 days.
