Samantha loved the pink and brown color combination that is so popular in nursery design. But instead of light pink, she wanted to add a dark pink to contrast and make it a little funkier.

Project Details:
The artist that painted the tree (Tracy Garcia from www.petitesuites.net) painted the mom and dad's initials in the trunk of the tree - making it look like it was carved into the tree, and adding some personalization to the room.

Advice:
Everyone DREAMS of having gorgeous dark hardwood floors in the nursery, but in this case, it really darkened the room... so we used white furniture to help lighten it up and add a little contrast to the dark floors. Chocolate brown curtains brought the rich color to the walls, and helped tie everything together.
