A bright summer party to celebrate my daughter 1st birthday!!!!
Design Inspiration:
Quorra born in June and she loves water soooo much.... I always want to throw a pool party for her, since summer and pool describes her well... So it was an easy decision for me to make, and I came up with this bright summer party at home.
The color she loves the most is yellow, so the basic color of the party is yellow with a great combination of pink, since she is my little girl :)
Decorating Style:
In Jakarta there is a certain trend in celebrating kids birthday party, often are held in a hotel ballroom complete with a master of ceremony and lots of clowns and extravagant backdrop, which all I think is way toooo much for kids... So my decorating style is all stuff that describes my Quorra.
She loves balloons... So I order balloons for backdrop and decorating the area, and I put 2 center table for kids to have their snacks... All decoration inspired by her daily activities, her favourite colors and even I order a special miniature of her in bikini that she wear on her birthday...
The dessert table prepared by my own sister, our personal chef...
I also manage to rent a slide pool for kids to play, the party is intended for everyone to have fun...

The party is a blast!
The decor is beautiful. The host is brilliant. She accommodates every child’s interest. There is no doubt that young children just love playing with both sand and water. She has both of them. In addition, she also provides swing sets for children as well as a pool full of balls.
My Aida (20 months) had so much fun that she talks about it every single day.
The food is great. Just sad that we don’t have the luxury of time to try them all.
