Description
This design was a surprise to my client and friend. They did not know the sex of the baby or see the room until they returned home from the hospital! It was a fun creative project unlike any other I have done for the blog!
Design Inspiration
I knew I wanted to keep the room light and paint the trim and doors the darker accent color. The inspiration for the coral came when I found the beautiful delicate ruffle mint color window panels!
Decorating Style
I love an eclectic vintage-modern style for a little girl's room! I love a mix of old and new and being able to use lots of color and pattern!

Advice
Look at your antique and thrift stores for accent pieces like little chairs and side tables that you can paint in accent colors. Its always nice to anchor the room with a rug. Don't be afraid to mix patterns!
