Quinlan’s Room

Description

Fairyland Forest I was inspired by some retail spaces in Paris. I loved the idea of birch trees and that is how it all started. I also wanted a room that could transition right into a big girl room just by changing the crib into a bed. I "hate" traditional girlie rooms. I am not a very girlie traditional pink person. I wanted something sophisticated that did not look like a nursery.

Design Inspiration

Birch trees all started with Cole and Sons birch tree wallpaper

Decorating Style

Transitional and unique

I like to mix modern pieces with older vintage pieces.  I like the fact that there is a modern piped rocker with a shabby chic chandelier.

this is a nice room, but I'm not really sure about that rug. It looks like roadkill, doesn't it?

Awesome room:) I agree with you 100% pink, girly rooms are overrated. This room is gorgeous and will grow with your daughter!

Gorgeous room.  Faves: the closet and the mirrored dresser.  What a blessed little girl!
