- A Project For: Presley
- Age: 22 months
- Location: Virginia Beach, VA
I wanted to create a space for my daughter that is not only functional but fun! I accomplished this by added a fun stencil and color palette along with some age appropriate art. The teepee is a great play space and has provided hours of fun!
Whimsy with a calm and comforting vibe
I don't think I have an exact style as I like to combine things I love for a more personalized space!
Cloud stencil: Handmade by Charlotte http://www.handmadecharlotte.com/
Chandelier: Thrift store and yarn bombed by me
Valance: Made by me fabric by michael miller
Book Crates: Michaels arts & crafts painted by me (not sold online)
Teepee: made by me http://primandpresley.wordpress.com/2013/10/22/diy-no-sew-teepee-2/
Art: thrifted frames and art made by using silhouette Cameo
Harpers Bazaar print: AC Moore (not sold online)
Dress on hook was worn by my sister and I
Pearls were my grandmothers
"Toy" basket: DIY by me http://primandpresley.wordpress.com/2013/10/26/restoration-hardware-knockoff/
My favorite item would have to be the dress and pearls included in her gallery wall. The dress was worn by my sister and I and the pearls were given to me by my grandmother.
My advice to anyone planning a nursery would be to buy what you love! When you really love the items you are putting in a space the room has a way of coming together beautifully.
