Pink Safari Baby Shower

Description

A pink safari baby shower for my sister in law's first baby.

Design Inspiration

The baby's nursery is safari themed, and the mother to be wanted the shower to reflect this.

Decorating Style

My decorating style is contemporary fun that doesn't feel stuffy but looks like you spent a ton of money!

Project Details

Printables by Paper & Pigtails; gable boxes, clear labels, paper straws, wooden berry boxes, wooden spoons from Garnish; Block letters, papier-mâché giraffes, acrylic boxes, cookie cutters from Michael's

Favorite Items

My favorite item was the branch over the table; I tied organza ribbon to mimic jungle vines and since I love to hang up stuff and so rarely do, this was a great touch. My other fav item, the J K L are the family's initials, that couldn't have worked out better if I planned it myself!

Advice

I love to take a party theme and run with it, down to the last detail, and infuse it through everything.  Something as simple as lining a vessel with coordinating paper is that little 'oomph' that makes a huge statement! Don't beat yourself up if you don't have certain skills; I have no cookie skills so everything on the table is storebought.
