I have a love for pastels and all things feminine. However, while putting together a nursery for our little girl, I wanted to build a space that was dreamlike but still offered more than my point of view. We had remodeled the loft into a room so a new wall was constructed. This allowed us to install pocket windows that we made into frames. I wanted playful languages in both languages, English & Vietnamese (my native tongue), so my husband custom made vinyl cutouts in gold for the pocket window frames. The rest came together easily utilizing both colors that are traditionally associated with boys and girls, blue and pink. I also added a touch of lavender for a touch of serenity.
I put together an inspiration board before launching the actual decor work and was so happy to see our vision come together.
