Piercen Jude's nursery was a project that meant a lot to me. Piercen's mommy and I have been friends for a very long time. We wanted to create a room that was very 'boy', but not baby. A palette of grey and kelly green was decided on, with pops of yellow. The room turned out fun and quirky, just how we wanted it.

Design Inspiration:
Our inspiration came from two pieces of Sycamore Street Press art we had seen on Etsy. Everything else fell into place soon after. Sometimes it does just take one piece to create the foundation of the room. Whether it be art work, rug or fabric. Grab hold of what makes you smile and go from there.

Favorite Items:
My favorite item in this room is the rocker. It was a craigslist find that got a new lease on life. With amazing fabric, this rocker is now a focal point in the room.

Advice:
Don't be afraid of bringing in lots of color and fun accessories. Not everything in this room was a perfect fit, but together they make such a fun room for Piercen to enjoy.
