Project Details

Décor. We live in Cambridge, MA so I had to find someone in the Dominican Republic to help me coordinate everything there. The venue decoration was designed as a collaboration between me and Events by Angelica Ureña. They made my ideas come true and went beyond that, improving them.

Invitations. I had the idea of the invitation to be like a book to resemblance the real Peter Rabbit book.  The invitations were a collaboration between me and Maizzdesign.

Centerpiece. Rustic real big carrot in a baskets were the centerpieces, complemented with folded invitations.

Cake and Dessert Table.  I made the back panel banner and the cake topper banner following some DIY pages I found online. The cake was made by Fresco del Horno and the cookies and cake balls by Luca's Nonna.

Gifts station. The gift station was a wheelbarrow that I borrowed from my brother construction business and Events by Angelica Ureña complemented it with rustic panels, creating the perfect gift station for the Peter Rabbit theme.

Games. The games for the older kids were coordinated by Bonchecitos. We had two farmers organizing the games.

Favorite Items

My favorite items were:

The party favor we gave to the kids. Each kid got a 'My First Garden Kit' , it included a bucket with seeds, shovel and dirt for the older kids to plant their first garden. For the babies, we gave each a plush carrot toy.

I also loved the cake and sweets table and the centerpieces. The rustic back panel and carrots plus the green rug used as a table cover created the perfect Peter Rabbit atmosphere.
