Gray Modern Woodland Nursery

Description

A modern woodland nursery theme.

Design Inspiration

I found inspiration on Pinterest, Etsy and Project Nursery. After I chose the fabrics and wall color, the rest of the design fell into place. I tried to combine many of the things I loved in a way that was cohesive to the modern woodland theme.

Decorating Style

Clean, sleek lines with muted neutrals and bold punches of color in furniture and accessories.

Favorite Items

My favorite item is the glider rocker recliner. Now that Parker is here we spend so much time in it. I'm glad I decided to spend a little extra and get something that not only rocks but swivels, glides and reclines. It makes those late night feedings very enjoyable.

I love all the personal touches like the toy box my sister made and the artwork that I made. It's fun to look around the room and see things contributed by family and friends.

Advice

Start a Pinterest board to collect ideas and items you may want to purchase for the room and then put together a floor plan. Also, a neutral wall color makes it easy to add bold color with furniture and accessories.
