Presli’s Pink and Gold Nursery
My husband and I wanted her nursery to be elegant and classy and not too “babyish”. We knew we wanted pink to be the main color, so we started from there and added touches of cream and gold. The perfect combination.

For this nursery I went with sophisticated elegance. I used purple and gray as the base color palette and bright blue accents to give the room a vibrant pop of color. I decided on the glass columns and a gray ceiling to introduce a new style to the room while staying within the decided color scheme.
This room started with a mural that I saw in a Lily Pulitzer store and decided to paint myself. Then I searched for pieces that were warm and complimented the mural. I love how happy it is and that she will enjoy the room more and more as she gets older.
The room is a teddy room through and through with ample display space and neutral tones with natural woods.
Our backyard peach and grey pumpkin birthday party celebrating our little pumpkin turning two!
We wanted a calming and cheery elephant nursery for our first daughter. We knew we wanted green walls, regardless of gender and ended up with a great color called Van Allen Green. Then we accented with pinks and purples once we found out the gender of our baby (a girl).
we wanted a girl’s bedroom to feel pretty without having to go with pink as our primary color so we opted for a soft robin’s egg grasscloth as our backdrop.

Pink and gold butterflies and flowers party.
It was important to me for the room to be a hybrid of sorts where our baby boy can grow from the crib to the bed and the room still feel comfortable and inviting to both him and us.
I had no idea where to start besides knowing I wanted gray walls and that eventually some color would start to bleed into the space through decor items I purchased.
I started just wandering stores and picking up things I loved. Not everything fit into the grand scheme of things and were returned, but the process helped me choose a direction.

Our sweet Lilly Belle’s Neverland nursery. A mix of our love for Disney and never wanting to grow up!
Light, simple and airy
I set out wanting to add as much color as I could to the big white room that was going to be the nursery. We rent, and the walls are wallpapered, so decals don’t stick to well to them. I am also a crafter and love sewing, so I wanted to make as much as I could.
We started to decorate the nursery before we knew the sex of the baby, so we knew we needed to do something gender-neutral. We decided on yellow and gray paint colors. I wanted texture in the room, so we built a stone wall and I painted a stencil on one wall. We found little stuffed animals that we couldn’t live without, and they helped us decide to do a safari theme. I’m not a professional designer and haven’t really had a good reason fully decorate a room before, so I had a ton of fun with Aiden’s nursery! Most nursery photos taken by Shades of Gray Photography.
As we waited for our fall baby, all we could think of was a outdoor baby shower in middle of summer. We wanted to have a fun gathering that included our friends and their families. We had few non cliche games to keep the guys involved. Outdoor venue came up with decoration and logistic challenges, but it all came well together at the end.
Roan and Bennett’s twin nursery was designed to feel playful and inspiring, with vintage finds and family keepsakes. The room is meant to foster a love of reading, creativity, and the inquisitive nature of little explorers–we wanted it to be a beautiful space that reflects the dreams we have for our sons. Favorite features include a custom-tinted chalk-board wall, outward-facing spice rack shelves stuffed full of favorite children’s books–some belonged to Momma and Daddy, and even grandparents–and an inspiring gallery wall.
Wanted something sweet and simple with orange and gray as the main colors. I fell in love with the fox and raccoon stuffed animals and decided a woodland nursery was the way to go.
A whimsical, contemporary, turquoise, orange and grey nursery on a budget!
