Description:
This nursery turned out to be everything I wanted. It is very girly, personalized, and sweet. I think it will be the perfect room for our baby girl. I had a lot of fun decorating this room.
-
Design Inspiration:
I painted the walls green before I was pregnant because I loved the color green and knew it would be good for a boy or a girl. When I found out we were having a girl I knew I wanted to do pink with the green. I also knew I wanted to have a tree somewhere in the nursery. When I found the bedding at Pottery Barn, everything else fell into place.
-
Decorating Style:
I usually tend to stick with neutrals, but I branched out with the nursery because I wanted it to be super girly.

Favorite Items:
My favorite items are the wall decal and the chandelier. I think these two items help to make the room unique and super girly! I also like the three bird cavases. That was my first art project I tried for the nursery and I had so much fun painting them (with the help of some friends).

Advice:
Have fun and look for deals! Try to make some artwork yourself because it is so rewarding in the end.
