Oliver’s Grey/Blue/Green Nursery

Description

The nursery I designed  on a budget with mostly garage sale purchases

Design Inspiration

I did not want something commercial looking or with characters.  I came up with the idea for the wall art and just based the rest of the nursery around that.  I did not want colors to match perfectly.

Project Details

Dresser, Glider, End Table and Chandelier were all garage sale purchases re-painted for the nursery all for under $100 total.

Favorite Items

The Chandelier.  I found a chandelier online i loved and it was $600, so I started looking at thrift stores and garage sales for one I could paint.  I found this one for $10, spray painted it and found the glass things where the light bulbs are for a couple bucks each at Home Depot.  It worked perfectly for under $30.

Advice

Don't stress about everything matching perfectly.

I love the colors you chose. I have a feeling though that these photos were taken when the nursery wasn't quite finished yet =)

Wow! What a serene nursery, and you did amazingly with the budget! What paint is that! I'm looking to do my nursery walls gray too.
