Baby Boy Shower for First time mom
Design Inspiration
The invitations we ordered had an animal mobile theme, so we used that theme for the rest of the decorations. The colors we used came from the invitations as well, and they worked great for a fall shower! The greens, oranges, and browns really complimented each other.
Project Details
We created a hanging mobile from colored paper and ribbon with animals to match those from the invitation. We also hung his ultrasound photos from ribbon as decoration ovre the mantle. We used photos of the Mommy-to-be's belly from each week of pregnancy as a timeline on the wall for guests to see her belly grow! The favor bags for the guests included some bath petals, bags of mint and peach tea, and candies with instructions for them to "relax!" In lieu of any baby shower games, the guests were encouraged to write out advice for the new Mommy-to-be on cards to give to her. They also had a chance to write a message to Baby Olin for his baby book.
