Design Inspiration
Awhile back I had seen a article in a magazine on Jennifer Lopez's nursery. It was old world, vintagey, & classic all rolled up into 1 and I fell in LOVE!!!! Then I was at a boutique and saw this custom bedding for a girl (i was having a boy) that had leopard in it and again I fell in LOVE! SO I went to a fabric store and brought pictures and this is what I came up with. Who says boys can't have leopard??

BOSTON letters- I made just from wood squares, scrapbook paper, wood letters, mod podge, and paint
Glider-custom from baby boutique
Big mirror-I bought at Kirklands on clearance and painted brown
The metal fabric crown I bought on ebay for 14.00 and painted!
The curtains I found at Bed Bath & Beyond

Not everything has to be expensive--I added so much stuff from Home Goods, Kirkland, and Hobby Lobby

Aw~ The nursery is adorable and I love the blue/brown combination! And the CRIB!? It's SO beautiful!!
PS Do you mind sharing the name and brand of the blue colour you painted the walls? I love it!

A room fit for a little king! You got a really lovely crib. This is the first old-world nursery I have seen, and I think it's splendid!

Oh my, this is one wonderful room. Regal and elegant with a very grown up feel to it. I love the mix of brown and blue. My favorite item has to be that bedding and that big safety pin (where'd you get that???)
