A Nursery Made for My Princess

Description

I wanted my daughters nursery to be fit for a princess, but without all the character decor. I wanted a unique, girly vibe and that is how project Princess Haven began.

Design Inspiration

I wanted my baby to have a nursery special to her.

Project Details

My daughter has a unique name, Haven. I knew I would not be finding any items at the store that had her name on it, so I made them myself. Most of the projects in her room I put together myself.

Favorite Items

My favorite part of her nursery is the wall color. It is called sweet baby girl (light pink), but an actual item in her room that is my absolute favorite is the sign she wore around her neck at our wedding. It is hanging on one of her shelves, a beautiful keepsake.

Advice

Get creative. I did not order a whole bedding set, I ordered it all in individual pieces making my perfect dream bedding. Think outside the box... Frames are not just for hanging on the wall, add some ribbon to dress them up. Also using a canvas in place of frames for pictures adds a beautiful touch.

Guy and Cam built it when Cam was quite young. There are actually two bridges back there – one very old and flat, the other that sweet curve. It78;21&#s a sort of magic little detail in the ragged woods.
