I love this room!  You did a beautiful job.  I’m sure it won’t be the last room you design!  Great advice, too.  Thank you for sharing…it’s inspiring.

I LOVE this room – I’d love to know which fabric you used on that chair. I’m looking for something the same color to use for crib bumpers!

Is your wall color more blue or aqua? I have a blue Ben Moore color on my bedroom walls, but was thinking more of a turquoise color for my daughters room. but don’t want to duplicate the look. Thanks!

The color is very aqua. It’s hard to say since it’s right in the middle of green and blue. If I had to choose, I’d say it was more on the blue-ish side. But the color is called “Robin’s Nest” so it’s a very Robin’s egg blue shade. It’s right in the middle of the spectrum.

I love this room!  The colors are so cheerful, and I love that banner! I just featured it on my blog about creating print-rich spaces for children: http://lettersoupblog.blogspot.com/2010/05/print-rich-spaces.html

Thank you for the inspiration. It is our first baby, too, and we are excited to design his or her nursery. Your room is our inspiration. Thanks for the tip about the accent color for boy or girl. We don’t know yet what we are having. Your details are much appreciated. I can’t say thank you enough….I’m not design-minded at all!

This is exactly the kind of room I want for my newborn when we get her her own room. I have been looking for the perfect blueish walls and want yellow sheets, I found some primary yellow gingham sheets online that will help with the vintagy aspect of the room. and lots of neat finds from antique stores, and a drawing i did of all red flowers inspired by a chair from anthropologie. Can’t wait! Love that I have this picture to help me fit it together nicely

Love what you did! I went and bought robins nest from BM but on the walls looks a lot darker! I was curious if your walls appear darker in person than your pics? I love how it shows in the pictures!
