Noah’s Vintage Baseball Nursery

Description

My husband and I are both Kansas City Royals baseball fans and I love the vintage look so we tried to combine the two for Noah's nursery. We wanted to include some furniture that we already had and we also wanted to have functionality in our baby's room.

Design Inspiration

As soon as we found out we were having a boy and I mentioned that we could do a baseball nursery, my husband ran with the idea. I am more into the vintage/diy so we integrated the two ideas that seemed to come together.

Decorating Style

I definitely like to work with pieces that I already have and I love the vintage look.

Project Details

My husband re-painted the desk/changing table with milk paint and then added an antique wax coat. I selected matching knobs from Hobby Lobby. My mother-in-law painted the dresser with the same materials my husband used on the desk and the baseball stitching was Pinterest inspired. The other two projects that we constructed ourselves were the pegboard and gutter bookshelves, which were both ideas from Pinterest.

Favorite Items

My favorite items are probably the changing table/pegboard because they turned out nice and they are both functional in terms of helping us stay organized.

Watching a Royals game right now and browsing sites on the Internet and found your baby boy's nursery. Love the Be Royal sign!
