Nia's First Birthday!!
Design Inspiration
I love everything Vintage! So I decided to have a vintage inspired tutu tea party for my daughter's first birthday. Guest wore tutus or tea party dress. It was a fabulous affair!
Decorating Style
I don't like the matchy-matchy look. I like to mix quite a few colors. For this party, the main colors where vintage pink, mustard yellow, vintage blue, and ivory. I love to decorate with flowers. The flowers I used I bought from Costco for only $8.99. I bought three bouquets.
Project Details
The tissue paper pom poms where a DIY project. I got the tutorial here:http://onelittleproject.com/how-to-make-tissue-paper-pom-poms/ The glass bottles where empty Starbucks cups and then I added glittery lace bows to them and filled them with candy. I also added the blue glittery lace bow to the backs of the chairs. The table cloth I bought f0r $10 a my local fabric store.
Favorite Items
My favorite item has to be the vintage shabby chic box I used as a center piece. I absolutely love it! It was a perfect item to center the tea party table! I purchased it from Home Goods.
