Our daughter and husband have their own home, but we wanted to create a modern neutral nursery and guest room in our home for when they come visit. The room will be used for many years and generations to come:)

We went with a neutral color palette & pops of color.

Design Inspiration

Inspiration came from The W Hotel, Babar, along with the love and excitement of such a joyous time in our lives.

Decorating Style

Modern, clean, clutter-free. Comfortable and functional. Not dated.

Project Details

The grey carpet was already in the room. As was the CB2 queen size Andes bed in white & the grey and the Latitude dresser. We installed Homosote panels (tackable) covered in burlap - which we painted with white fabric paint. The animal silhouettes made from vintage wallpaper came from The Romp Store. The crib/changing table is Mondo from BabyLetto. Bedding came from The Land of Nod and Pottery Barn Kids. The glider/ottoman are from Carousel Designs. The tube top lamps are from Room & Board and the lacquer boxes are from Wayfair.

Favorite Items

My favorite items are the lamps, the animal silhouettes, the glider/ottoman, the Bearbricks figures from our own collection-and the grey Ubbi diaper pail. I also love the Kerri Lee door hanger!

Don't get overwhelmed by all the merchandise that is out there! Edit- less is more....keep a photo file of things you like and don't like....just go for it!
