Description
A modern girl's nursery transitioned from her brother's room with a few easy changes.
Design Inspiration
This project was inspired by the Blik custom decals and the David Hicks patterned roman shades already in the room as it was a boy's nursery before.
Decorating Style
The style of this home is contemporary with a playful mid-century flare.

Favorite Items
My favorite items in the room are definitely the wall decals. They are so bold and dramatic yet playful.
Advice
Just by changing up the bedding and a wall decor, you too can easily transition a child's room from one gender to the other.

I like everything except the decals. They just seem haphazardously stuck here and there. The crib, the furniture, colors, window shade - love everything else!

Very fit for a modern princess, indeed! I love how you got different colors and different elements in here, and none is overpowering. Everything just mixed well together.

Hi. Do you happen to know if they have these wall decals in a different color? I'd like the same but all in white or beige.

The floor lamp is from West Elm, but it's at least five years old.
