Description:
Maria's nursery was truly a labor of love for me. Almost everything in the nursery is homemade. I had a list of things I wanted for the room and soon realized that I wanted to do most of them myself.
Design Inspiration:
I wanted a soft palette of gray, coral and yellow with some pops of color. I knew the book wall would bring in lots of pops of color.

Crib - Sears

Dresser - Ikea

Change table - given from a friend...we painted it white and I sewed a change table cover with Premier Prints Giraffe Twill.

Rocking Chair - From our old cottage, recovered with Premier Prints Gotcha Summerland Grey.

Smile pillow- homemade using felt and Amy Butler's coral fabric.

Book ledge - homemade

Art -I didn't buy any art. I used free printables, fabric, old cards...the butterfly print was made with a punch and paint chips.

I sure would love to kidnap you and have you handmade things for me :) These pieces are lovely and the nursery is beautiful. I was wondering though why there seems to be not much black here. I was looking for something that would starkly contrast the light and white paint. Nevertheless this is an amazing labor of love!
