Mila’s Shabby Chic Nursery

Description

A shabby chic, classic nursery for my little love made under a budget!

Design Inspiration

I loved vintage rose patterned fabric as well as rustic birdcages that I had leftover from our wedding.

Decorating Style

Simple and cozy. Also, I love to create special pieces and to not spend a ton of money!

I love the whole nursery, but my favorite is the bookcase my husband refinished. My dad made it for me when I was a little girl, and now I get to hand it down to my daughter.

Advice

Start looking early! You can find items on Craigslist for a fraction of the cost, it just might take some time to find exactly what you're looking for. Use sale sites like Zulily that have long shipping times. And don't be afraid to make things yourself!
