A Project For: Mason

Description:
I wanted to create a nursery for my little guy without using the standard colors such as light blue. I ended up using yellow and teal as my starting colors in the bedding and curtains and then worked my way around the room by adding pops of color. ( sorry for the terrible lighting in some of the pictures)
Design Inspiration:
When trying to determine a style or color scheme for a room I always go to fabric first! I went to a local, fabric store and fell in love with the yellow stripe fabric used in curtain and the teal fabric used in bedding!i
Decorating Style:
I think my decorating style is bright and fun
Project Details:
The changing pad cover and crib sheet is from www.landofnod.com

The rug is from www.target.com

I made the curtains and crib bedding but I found the fabric from www.fabric house.com in. Nashville
Favorite Items:
My favorite items would have to be the quilts made by a friend and my grandmother, as well as the letters used to spell Masons name in the frame on wall.
Advice:
Pick a fabric or rug first then go from there!
