Livi’s Nursery

Description

An eclectic nursery with DIY details! Wanted a fun nursery for my baby girl that allowed for a broad array of bright colors and plenty to keep her interest...without breaking the bank!

Design Inspiration

Land of Nod's Princess and the Pea crib bedding set the tone and palette for the room.

Advice

Putting together a nursery on a budget doesn't mean you have to sacrifice everything you wanted for your nursery.  Pick and choose items you want to invest in and get creative with everything else... you and your little one will be spending LOTS of time in this room, so surround yourself with things you know you will make you happy and that you can enjoy for a long time to come!

thanks nikki and yes! i snagged the decals from a flash sale site (they're called "Journey into the Countryside" by ADZif Piccolo) and was pretty happy with how they turned out! Easy to apply and not too thick and "sticker"-y :)

This is one of the best nurseries I have seen in a while and I trawl all the websites looking. Whimsical, happy and fun without being over the top. I love it. Olivia sure is lucky. The colours are perfect, the heart art, rag rug, quilt, decals and finally those beautiful name letters. It's really lovely.
