Lila’s Nursery

Description

A cute space for our little one

Design Inspiration

It started with the Heather Bailey crib bedding, which set the tone for the color choices in the room

Decorating Style

Modern, cosy

Project Details

The general idea was to keep things simple since it's a small room. I tried to create a practical and modern space with light grey walls and white furniture while keeping a warm feminine touch with Heather Bailey fabrics, which
I used  to make a few things myself. The crib bedding was custom made by TheClassCrib, found on etsy and I bought some fabric to make a pillow cover, lampshade, laundry bag and curtain.

I mixed some Ikea and Modo furniture, with some older possessions like the west elm rug and cool Etsy finds. Also, I had to work with an ugly a/c window unit and old fashion radiator. I didn't want to invest in a radiator cover, so I chose to use the existing heater  as a display shelf for a cute etsy fox. I did the same thing with the a/c unit, which hosts my old matryoshkas.

Favorite Items

I really like the crib for its modern look and nice quality and the dresser for its simple lines and affordable price. The tree wall decal is also a favorite!

Advice

Use what you already have and mix it up! I feel  it looks  more interesting and personal when you mix different brands and use some personal items you already own.

FYI, the Babyletto brand is also available under the Babymod name at Walmart.com for around $100 less.

Hi pinkkystarfish! The paint color is Bunny Gray by Benjamin Moore (ref# 2124-50). Just so you know, depending on the light, it can have a bluish undertone.
