Description
Olivia, my daughter, was the head designer and decorator with a little bit of advice from me. I really wanted her to feel like it's her personal room.
Design Inspiration
Light blue and light pink were Olivia's favorite colors and they defined the theme.... and owls :) we did not want to forget the owls! Inspiration came from hours and days spent on blogs, Pinterest and Etsy as we wanted every piece to be perfect.
My girl loves owls, she enjoys reading books and doesn't like to clean up. So everything had to be organized, yet simple to keep in place. Favorite books are on the shelves and the nightstand, the rest of them are in the dresser.

Prints came from Sass&Peril etsy shop. Great shopping experience there and I love to buy from small businesses.

Tree Decal by Cherry Walls. Again I love anything made locally by a small business. I had to customize the tree and the shop owner was very helpful.
All books are from book depository. I find great value books there all the time.
My husband helped with curtains, shelves and picture frames. I was able to manage the rest including the wall decal.
Favorite Items
I would probably say the tree sticker is my favorite piece. It brings everything together.
Advice
Use PN and other blogs to find tips and to get ideas for your project. Buying from reliable sellers is not always expensive, I was able to find great deals and free shipping.
